“With 3 families gathering for the 23rd year, this home turned out to be perfect! Everyone could hang out together in the unusual multi-sofa living area and, as a rare bonus, everyone could sit together at the dinner table!! The movie room, hot tub and steam shower were well used, as well as the big puzzle selection, such a treat! The house manager, Beth, was so nice & immediately responsive to our SOS call for a new coffee machine & a couple other small issues & was much appreciated by all. But best of all is the location! Ski in/out was ideal & we found we could cut out pony express by making a short walk up the road & skiing a path directly to Iron Horse lift - a faster track to the runs off Challenger! We comfortably fit 15 family members in the house. We spent most of our time out and about (National Glacier Park, Big Sky and Yellowstone). The house was a perfect respite after long, active days. Fabulous location for skiing

“Well set up to hold your skis and even has a 24 pair capacity boot/glove drier. Very well equipped kitchen was great for group meals. Lots of space for family

Overall good. Lots of space for family. Kitchen storage filled with lots of “leftover” food etc from prior guests/owner. Not much storage room available. The 7th bedroom was disappointing. Long way from bath & seemed an after thought. Bedrooms did not have dressers/ shelves etc for clothes & personal items. The home is beautiful & everyone had a great time. The home is spacious and comfortably luxurious, and the entire property is so beautiful! We actually had a fox come up to the back deck, in search of the burgers on the grill, in remained for several minutes. A moose wandered down the side of the house and onto the property across the drive-so majestic! Our family reunion, after the separations caused by COVID-19 was much needed and enjoyed by all. The house was truly amazing

We were a family of 10 adults, two teens and two under the age of 5. The house was truly amazing. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out or come together at the dinner table which was able to accommodate everyone at one time. We rarely see that in other homes. The views were spectacular and we even had a deer and fox visit us several days. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked including very large pots, pans and bowls. All in all a wonderful house and would not hesitate to rent again.

Our Stay Was Wonderful and the House Was Truly Amazing

Thank you for reaching out.  Our stay was wonderful and the house was truly amazing.  The house was very spacious and we all had plenty of room.  We were originally supposed to be seven couples with a few kids however, two couples were unable to attend.  We still would have had plenty of room if everyone was able to make the trip.  We all loved the view from the living room and all of the couches/loveseats in there that gave everyone a comfortable place to sit and visit.  Several of us enjoyed the theater and hot tub which was very nice after a long day of sightseeing.  Also having a dinner table to seat everyone was very nice and personally my favorite.  We don’t find that often in our travels.  The kitchen was very well stocked, lots of large pans and bowls which we have rarely seen in other homes. If I had a complaint, and this is not one by any means, it would be not having an outdoor area to play yard games.  I realized afterwards this is more of a winter home (duh snow skiing) therefore more suited for people staying inside.  That being said, we made the long driveway work and were able to  play our games.  So there is really nothing to say we were not thrilled about. The only suggestion is the toilet in the downstairs bedroom (the race car room) is slow at times to fill up the tank.  We had to take the lid off approximately 90% of the time to initiate filling up the tank. All in all the house was truly perfect and everyone enjoyed the spaciousness and all the amenities the house offered.  We would highly recommend the house and would definitely rent it again for another wonderful family vacation!

We enjoyed the theatre room but we noticed that it would get very warm and the thermostat was only for heat. Otherwise no complaints. We will definitely consider your properties for future trips.

November 2019 The Huene’s said…..This was our first time to Big Sky and it was nothing short of fabulous.  The views were amazing – everything looks better covered in snow!!  We took a day trip to Yellowstone and saw all sorts of cool things. Big horn sheep, elk, antelope, and so many bison.  A couple of bison were even fighting with each other.  Shopping at the consignment store and walking around the village was so fun.  We found so many good finds and met the nicest of people.  Thank you for inviting us to your beautiful home!  We had a blast here with everyone.  This was such a fun way to get acquainted with Montana!  Thank you for having us! The biggest hit was either the kitchen/living room where we gathered each day or the theatre where the football fans had a blast on Sunday. The leak in the bathroom was a bit of a let down, also the guest book had a card that mentioned a snack tray that we couldn’t find. Oh and labels on the kitchen cabinets stating what is in each cabinet would be helpful (saw this at another rental property). I don’t know if this is something you can change but the directions were a little weird. Only google maps would bring people to the house, apple maps took them to a ski patrol area. Also the directions stated lower diamond hitch but we found that removing lower and only using diamond hitch got us there.  Response from Owner…..Thank you for the review!! We are so happy your group enjoyed the house and apologize for the leak issue.  We are having our team take a look at the leak again as its one of those that they can't seem to pinpoint.  Thank you for the detailed information regarding the possible location of the leak!  That will be helpful! We will take a look at the directions in the letter to verify accuracy.  We do know directions can be challenging depending upon which map you are using!  Snack trays are only supplied if length of stay is over 5 days....and the suggestion for the labels is great.

Lots of family time, playing cards, games, hot tub, steam shower, and, of course, eating! We were blessed with mild weather, visits from deer, fox and sighting of a moose. Thankful for a most wonderful family vacation.

July 2019 Clea said….Diamond Hitch home was very nice and enjoyed by our family. Each bedroom had their own bath which was nice. Family used hot tub, enjoyed movies in theatre room, dining table easily accommodated eleven of us. Location was great. We enjoyed the Big Sky area and activities: fly fishing, white water rafting, ski lift to top of mountain, hiking. We brought books to read but were too busy. We did spend one day at Yellowstone which the whole family enjoyed. Great home for a family.

We all enjoyed looking at all of the Warren Miller and other memorabilia around the house. Moonlight Basin ended up being our favorite part of the mountain, and the groomer groomed right up to the first step outside our doorway. Thanks so much Jim and Pam!

Perfect location and stay…

March 2019 Don F. said…..Our group of 10 chose Diamond Hitch for our yearly corporate retreat and it was the perfect choice. The ski in-ski out made the whole trip so much better. The home is well laid out, clean, and little touches like the platter of cookies and cheese says how much the owners care about their guests. We used the theater room for several of our presentations. Overall, I would rate the stay a 10. Communication was very good-there were no surprises or issues. Their welcome letter was very detailed and very helpful. We plan to return to Big Sky next year and hope we can return to Diamond Hitch.

This trip has been going on for over 20 years and has involved various hotels and houses in four states. This is the best house by far and we keep returning to it. It has seven separate bedrooms and baths, several of the bedrooms with two beds. The great room is huge and the kitchen well supplied with all necessities to cook for a large group, something missing in other houses quite often. The owners are very friendly and professional. You will not be disappointed in this house! James H.

The Jacob/Supak combination family enjoyed every minutes of our 3-1-18/3-8-18 stay at your facility. Probably the most snow we ever saw on the ground (we are from South Central Texas). Also a great snowfall on Sunday (3-4-18) gave the kids a tremendous experience.

The physical arrangement of the house was perfect for us. The well appointed kitchen facility was great as we are a cooking lunch – age 83 to 1 yr. The 2 four year olds skied for their first time – did well and loved it.

We hope we can return sometime in the future to further explore the area around Big Sky.

Playing cards at night with everyone and grandpa kicking our butts in “Pass the trash”.

The facilities and being with most of our family. Watching Jolie & Kannon (4 yr olds) play inside with all the toys/games. They were so good. Also seeing Jolie to be so excited to put on skis and how she loved ski school.

The skiing was amazing and the 18” of snow make for great powder skiing! Trying to ski again, watching Kannon (4 yrs old) ski for the first time & loving it, watching it snow, sledding, and being with family.

We are thankful for (almost all of our whole family) being here spending quality time with our grand children, Jolie & Kannon’s nightly meal prayers and Reid (1 Yr). Thomas saying “Gigi and Papa” the first time…. Also the last night shooting pool with gramps!

16 of us descended on your lovely home from Louisiana, Florida, Texas, and New York! The snow was outstanding (2 feet of fresh powder), and skiers and boarders loved the expanse of the mountain, and the lack of crowds. We have Christmas stockings for “Santa” to fill, had a white elephant gift exchange, played a rousing game of charades, enjoyed delicious meals prepared mostly by each individual family, and spent quality time in the hot tub and stead room!! We took one day and went to Yellowstone for cat rides and history, and Old Faithful. Two of our group ice fished on the Gallatin River and enjoyed catching trout! Enjoyed looking at all your posters, photos, family pictures, and notes. Looks like many years of wonderful memories! Thank you for an enjoyable holiday!!

This house is ski in and out at Big Sky in the Moonlight Basin area. Skied down to a small lift that is 3 minutes ski time away. From there you can take another lift that will bring you to the ski runs. Spacious house, great kitchen, and views. We had a generous area to store your skis, boots, and poles. Best of all a super boot dryer/warmer! Aaah! Great en-suite bedrooms. We have stayed there twice and look forward to staying there again in the future.

This spacious home is in a great location with ski-in/ski-out access right to the back door. There is lots of room in this home, and it is well set-up for skiing couples. There are great views of the ski hill, as well as across the valley. We really appreciated the garage area which is well set up for storing skis and drying your gear after a day on the slopes.

Best ski vacation home I ever stayed in!!!

Booked this place for family and friends to ski at Big Sky. It was amazing! You literally walk right out the door to a groomed trail that takes you to lifts on moonlight basin side. You can ski down from the Challenger lift right back to the house. We had everything we needed from slippers and robes to all the cooking and kitchen utensils for our group of 13. We loved the home theater and the sauna, hot tub, even a steam room! The owners must be pretty cool because they have a bunch of fun pictures decorating the amazing cabin. I've already told everyone I know how great it was and wouldn't hesitate to go there again. I'm already looking at booking another ski trip!

Very spacious home with lots of room for 11 adults and all their gear. We really appreciated the ski-in/ski-out access right to the back door, and the house is well set-up for skiers! Beautiful location with great views of both the ski hill and across the valley. We also enjoyed taking advantage of the home's many amenities including the hot tub, sauna, and theater room.

We have previously stayed in the Russell Mace diamond hitch house. It just gets better and better. The houses extremely well-equipped. We were able to seat and serve over 20 people comfortably for dinner one night. The location is excellent for ski and in ski out. Due to the easy access, it can easily accommodate both young skiers who do not wish to ski all day or older skiers who will only ski a partial day. The amenities are first-rate. There are literally hundreds of movies in the media room. The decorations are delightful. Other amenities include a boot and glove Dryer that is extremely helpful. The location is close enough to restaurants however the kitchen facilities are first-rate. Parking is generous and easily accommodates multiple vehicles. We have previously stayed in the Russell Mace homes in Whistler British Columbia, Jackson Hole Wyoming, Deer Valley Utah and Cowboy Heaven Big Sky Montana. All of the homes are the first rate and can easily accommodate several couples. All of them are five-star.

Colorado, Kentucky, Minnesota, Norway, Virginia, and West Virginia merged in Big Sky for a fabulous Christmas gathering. Great place for making memories. Skiing, a coach tour of Yellowstone, hot tub, memories, loads of laughs and great stories. Celebrating an 80th birthday. 18 people here and we all really enjoyed the house and all its features. Pictures around [the house] were enjoyable to look at for the adults and kids. We visited Yellowstone park, some went fly fishing, rafting, water board and rafts at Big Sky center. Our big party was held at Cabin Fever. Weather was great.

We recently returned from another spectacular vacation at Big Sky. We have never stayed in as place as nice as this home. We were able to watch football games and movies, cook dinner and play games after our long days of skiing. Some of us even spent time in the Jacuzzi and steam room. The best part of this house is the ski in ski out access. We loved walking out the door, putting on our skis and just heading down the hill. The location of this home is truly spectacular as you get to see sunrise on the Spanish peaks and watch the sun go down over the amazing Lone Peak. This house is truly a wonderful place to stay. Everything we needed was here-including sleds. We planning to return soon.

I am a unabashed repeat customer of this incredible ski in-ski out property at Big Sky/Moonlight Basin, Montana. The house is up-to-date, very comfortable and roomy. I personally absolutely love going to the steamer after my ski day and then following that with a period of time in the hot tub three steps outside the back door. The views out the front windows of the Spanish Peaks are extraordinary. The owners are very easy to work with and I simply cannot think of another place I would rather stay to ski than at Diamond Hitch! Extraordinary Luxury Vacation Home

The ski in ski out access from this home is amazing. We did not expect that we be able to just walk out the side door and be able to ski down to the chair. The convenience to come home for lunch and check on things was so awesome. We had a great time playing board games and watching football while others were relaxing in the hot tub. There were more utensils in the beautiful kitchen than we have at home which made for fun times cooking. We loved the great pictures that decorated the house and themed bedrooms. We highly recommend this home for large family vacations. We will be back soon to enjoy this extraordinary luxury vacation home!!! Spacious, superior location and well equipped

We recently returned from another spectacular vacation at Big Sky. We have never stayed in as place as nice as this home. We were able to watch football games and movies, cook dinner and play games after our long days of skiing. Some of us even spent time in the Jacuzzi and steam room. The best part of this house is the ski in ski out access. We loved walking out the door, putting on our skis and just heading down the hill. The location of this home is truly spectacular as you get to see sunrise on the Spanish peaks and watch the sun go down over the amazing Lone Peak. This house is truly a wonderful place to stay. Everything we needed was here-including sleds. We planning to return soon.

Ski-in, Ski-out at its finest

We had a group of couples and friends together here for our annual New Year's gathering. We have been to many places including Breck, Vail, Whistler, etc. This was the best house we have stayed at out of all of them due to sheer convenience. We were able to walk out of the house and ride down the hill to the Pony Express lift within 2 minutes. From the top of the 6-shooter lift it took us about 4 minutes until we were walking into the house for lunch. We never had that luxury before. They had boot warmers in the garage that could fit everything for 15 people we had there. Hot tub, movie theater and big spacious living area was great. Here are a few notes to future renters that might help: Make sure you have a 4WD to get up to the house. It was mentioned a few times in notes from the owner/property managers, but we had friends with a 2WD SUV they thought would make it, but couldn't. We parked them near the Pony Express and shuttled them up with my beast of a 4WD. Next, there is only 1 refrigerator. We bought a lot of food for a week of cooking and had to play a game of tetris every time we pulled out the guacamole just to make it fit again. A second refrigerator and access to a pantry would have made the kitchen a bit more tidy. Next, buy your lift tickets before heading up to the house. You can get them at Moonlight Lodge not too far from the house. That way you can take full advantage of the ski-in, ski-out perk and won't have to make an unnecessary drive the morning. I have stayed in Big Sky before with the family but have never had accommodations like we had at this Diamond Hitch home. You can tell the owner really cares about having everything available to those that stay in this amazing vacation home. The kitchen is absolutely spectacular. The views from the great room were breathtaking. The ski in ski out access is very a big plus--right out the door to the lift hill. We cannot wait to go back to this wonderful home.

A special place. The home is beautiful. The owners have their own professional team to manage the property. They also retain a local person who is available to handle any problems. We visited during the summer and found that the area including the Big Sky Resort offered a variety of activities including hiking, rafting, zip lining, and horseback riding. We did not fish on this trip, but understand that the nearby Gallatin River can be good for those who want to wade. Yellowstone Park is about an hour's drive away. The home sits at 8,100 ft. above sea level. The views at sunrise, sunset and of the night stars are spectacular. The kitchen is fully equipped - including condiments! We were welcomed with cheese and fruit trays. Our party had 15 people of all ages and there was plenty of room. The home theater was perfect for the kids on our rainy Saturday. We'd recommend this property for just about any large group.

Great summer get-away

We rented this home for a large family retreat (13 adults, 4 children) and enjoyed the solitude and easy access to Yellowstone and many outdoor activities. There are abundant hiking trails, mountain bike trails, and other places to explore right around the house, so we spent several days just spending time around the home as well. The home is at high altitude (about 7,000+ feet), so it did take us a little while to figure out why we were a little more short of breath on easy walks! The property managers were friendly and accessible and also helped make it a great stay. Though summer was beautiful, we'd love to come back in winter to hit the slopes! We went to Big Sky with 10 guys for our annual ski trip. Everything about this house was fantastic. The house was perfect and had everything we could possibly want. We really enjoyed the layout of the house with an open living/kitchen/dining area and plenty of sleeping options that were private and great. The ski room/heated garage was a great place for our things to keep wet clothes and boots to dry out away from the rest of the house. The boot dryers and benches are great When I build a ski house of my own, I will model it after this home. The ski out run down to the lift was always groomed. Best house ever!

Our small ski club chose this house in 2013 and we liked it so much we came back this year! It has everything you could ask for in a ski vacation. Plenty of room for the eight couples who stayed here and the two newest couples stayed just up the slope in Cowboy heaven. We are going to be hard pressed to find another place that fit our needs the way this does, from the heated garage with ski storage to being able to ski right to the door. The steam room, sauna, media room and hot tub were the bomb! The caretaker, Beth, worked to solve any issues we had right away. We may just have to come back again!

Great house with many bedrooms and individual beds. The hot tub, steam room and sauna were well worth using after skiing all day. Large kitchen with huge dining table easily accommodated our group of 8 for breakfast and dinner. • The temperature in the house was hard to control. Downstairs was cold, main floor just right and upstairs the guys complained it was too hot. • Great mountain to ski, no lift lines and big wide open slopes for cruising. Highlight was driving to West Yellowstone and snowmobiling to "Old Faithful". • Just a bit over an hour drive from Bozeman Airport. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers

Tranquility Defined

This house is amazing; pictures don’t do it justice. The minute I unpacked I sunk into the couch by the fireplace and started winding down. It’s such a tranquil environment, nestled in the middle of several ski runs and set up for skiers, but is just as pleasing to non-skiers. My girlfriend hadn’t skied in 25 years so she chose to relax and enjoy the views and serenity of the house the first day, however after watching the snow fall all night, we rented skis and got her on the slopes as well. After a full day of skiing we jumped in the Jacuzzi, then made dinner in a kitchen created for the fantasy gourmand I believe I am. After dinner we popped open our favorite bottle of wine and headed to the built-in movie theater to watch two movies from the extensive collection available. The bedroom was inviting after a full day of activities, and gave us a quiet night of rest to wake up and start all over again.

Family Reunion

This was a perfect house for our family reunion of 11 adults! Location at top of Big Sky was beautiful and easy to get to. The house was so spacious and we were able to spread out and used all 7 bedrooms! Movie room was a hit with some at night while others loved the huge living room. While there we hiked, fished, shopped, went to Lone Peak via tram, while some biked down and some zip lined down. Yellowstone was an easy 1 hr drive. Horseback riding and white water rafting were also a hit. Weather was perfect the 10 days we were there. On the cool side for late August but felt great! House has lots of amenities like robes, hair dryers, and everything you will need in a kitchen! Hope we can all go back another time! The house was gorgeous and perfect for our family reunion. My 87 year old mother, who uses a walker, chose the smaller bedroom on the main floor since it was easier for her to ambulate in that bedroom and bath. We went to Yellowstone for a couple of days, Virginia and Nevada City, whitewater rafting on the Gallatin, horseback riding (Jake's Horses are awesome), the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, and we loved the Big Sky Farmer's Market. Our zip lining adventure was canceled due to lightning. One evening we enjoyed a special treat: an open air concert at Big Sky. We had a fantastic time, and Beth Van Horn was extremely friendly and helpful. She was able to stop the forced air temporarily. We never were able to figure out the air/heating situation, and ultimately covered the vents with pillows to stop the dry air from blasting into the rooms. There's nothing like sleeping with the windows open and smelling the fragrant cool mountain air. Thanks again for allowing our family to stay at your fabulous resort home.

I've been all over the west and British Columbia on ski vacations, and stayed in all manner of accommodations, and have never stayed in a more convenient, better stocked, or all inclusive venue! The house is huge, sleeping up to 18, but still maintains a homey atmosphere due to all the personal touches, like photos and awesome posters, including skiing giants like Warren Miller. The living area, dining and living room, were extremely comfortable and roomy allowing the entire group to eat and relax together in one area. The hot tub was large enough to accommodate those interested in soothing sore muscles. The movie theater was a great touch for after dinner relaxation, and great for keeping kids entertained in the evenings, great movie selections also. The kitchen was fantastic, every modern convenience was available. Cooking meals was a breeze. Ski access was unbeatable, walk 20 yds out the back, ski on groomed trail to lift, upload without a ticket, ski down run to lodge, buy ticket, ski all day, or return to house for lunch, ski home at end of day right up to your door! Awesome! This is the perfect retreat for a great family ski vacation or reunion, or a group of good friends together enjoying the mountains. By the way Big Sky is an incredible mountain, with vast terrain for beginners to extreme skiers! Doesn't get any better! The place is beautiful, comfortable, very clean and spacious. Bedrooms and baths are very nice. Beds were comfy. Slept like a baby. Kitchen is well appointed with the basics you might need like spices and even some "not so basics”. This place is very spacious. The views from every room of the house are amazing. We loved that we could ski in and ski out so easily with all levels of skiers in our group and we did not have to carry our equipment more than 5 steps.There was plenty of room for our large group of adults and kids to spread out and be comfortable. Beatiful Ski in-Ski out cabin!

Our group of 4 families just returned from Big Sky and had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. We have stayed at other ski-in and ski-out cabins and this one by far been the easiest to get on and off the slopes. We have beginner snowboarders to Summit skiers, and everyone seemed to love the location. The home itself was set up beautifully with an open floor plan and great amount of beds. We had our family reunion at this beautiful lodge at Moonlight Basin in March 2014. The home was very comfortable and roomy enough for our gang. We loved the expansive ski resort and took turns between Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. It was the best ski-in/ski-out we have ever stayed at. The run is right behind the house and the cat even groomed to our door! Apres-ski we enjoyed the hot tub on the back patio…and each night everyone relaxed in the Home Theater with a movie. This home was hassle-free, incredibly spacious, very comfortable and over-the-top with ways to relax. This massive rental home was the highlight of our family vacation last july. It was amazing to get the grandkids away from their computers and videogames for a few weeks to go hiking and canoeing in the beautiful wilderness surrounding the property, and our kids certainly enjoyed the opportunity to have us look after the grandkids while they went out to the nearby restaurants in Big Sky Mountain Village. Just wonderful

It was a beautiful house, with lots and lots of room for our extended family to all spread out but plenty of room in the great room when we wanted to be all together. It was nicely furnished and had everything that we needed. I can't say enough about the location. It was up on the mountain with a great view across the valley to another mountain. Our first day it rained and when it cleared there was a big rainbow so close we could almost touch it. We would all love to stay there again, and get another Montana fix.

Something for every age in a gorgeous location

We enjoyed our stay in every way possible from watching a bear trying to get into the trash to the scenery which surrounded us at every turn. The home is beautiful with every convenience. Our youngest of three generations loved the hot tub and movie theater. Our children felt that they had privacy and fished and rafted during the day. My wife and I relaxed and went down to Yellowstone several times. The home was clean and well equiped - it exceeded our expectations.

Spoiled Us Forever!

We spent a week at this marvelous home and could not have had a better time. The home was spacious enough to provide privacy for 5 couples and a lot of comfortable group gathering spaces. Many luxurious touches added to our vacation experience: hot tub, wet AND dry saunas, home theater, well-stocked kitchen that included a variety of cookware not usually found in rental properties, and great ski amenities including boot and glove dryer, lots of room with benches for getting ready to ski, heavy duty non-slip mats for walking in ski boots, and ski access within steps of the back door. In addition, the decor included ski equipment from years past, which provided a nostalgic look at the sport. Unforgettable Ski Vacation with the Guys

Decided to take a ski vacation up to Montana with some of my old college buddies, what an amazing experience. This house was enormous, with great views of the surrounding mountain ranges while only steps away from the slopes. We were putting on our skis right outside the front door. At night we had the option of staying in and warming up in the hot tub or even watching a movie together in the movie theater-style media room. Spoiled Us Forever!

We spent a week at this marvelous home and could not have had a better time. The home was spacious enough to provide privacy for 5 couples and a lot of comfortable group gathering spaces. Many luxurious touches added to our vacation experience: hot tub, wet and dry saunas, home theater, well-stocked kitchen that included a variety of cookware not usually found in rental properties, and great ski amenities including boot and glove dryer, lots of room with benches for getting ready to ski, heavy duty non-slip mats for walking in ski boots, and ski access within steps of the back door. In addition, the decor included ski equipment from years past, which provided a nostalgic look at the sport. Our group was in complete agreement that this is definitely the way to take a ski vacation!

Our ski club rented this house for the 2013 ski season. We have always stayed in condos before but decided to try a house this time since we are all good friends. We are going to have a hard time matching this home. It had everything we needed and more! To be able to ski right out, and to the door was the best! We enjoyed the media room since we were there for the Super Bowl and the steam room was great for our dried out bodies. The ski storage in the heated garage was also a real plus!! Plenty of warm room for us to gear up and unload. We would definitely recommend this house to any large group!

A perfect home for ski club!

After a long day flight we ventured up the hill to a very welcoming, comfy place that 16 of us would call home for 10 days! We enjoyed ski in/ out and tooling around Big Sky Mall. The wild life is amazing; we had snow 6 of 10 days, perfect conditions! We enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room & sauna after skiing. We watched the Super Bowl in the media room & shared our MSC pics on the Big Screen. Buck T-4’s was glad to see us come and after 2 ski shots probably were ready for us to leave, the food was delicious! This home is very accommodating and we truly enjoyed all the amenities! We loved being able to cook big meals, eat together and play cards each night at the huge table! We felt right at home and look forward to visiting again!

Had a wonderful time with some amazing skiing. Ski in and out is definitely the way to go. The house was well equipped and had plenty of social space. Ok, maybe could do with a better coffee machine but that is minor. Also stayed at Jim's house in Jackson also wonderful but I really enjoyed no lift lines at Big Sky. Definitely will stay here again. There was a mountain view from every window! It was quiet and spacious. The kitchen had good equipment, the only thing we did not have was a lemon juicer. The movie room was used by the teens and also the adults when we were not busy hiking, rafting, or horse back riding. Everything was within 20 to 30 minute distance. The trail maps were very helpful and easy to follow! We absolutely loved the location and the house! It is the best we have stayed in and we have been doing this 11 years. Everything is of such high quality!Congrats to the home owner!

With the sky getting dark after 10 p.m. and light beginning at 4:30 or so, it made longer sleep almost impossible. Room darkening shades would not be that expensive. Please, everything else is of such high quality!!! Congrats to the home owner!

Ski-in and Ski-out has been taken to a whole new level!!! It is less than 16 steps to the ski slope. The house is nicely situated slope side. The home is prestigiously appointed with sauna, steam room, spa, 7 bedrooms and baths. This was great for our family and a group of friends. There is a large TV room with big screen and surround sound. The kitchen is huge and doesn't lack for anything. We are planning on making another trip here next year, staying at the same place. This house is very nicely furnished, has an excellent great room and kitchen perfect for group gatherings. All the bedrooms are very well appointed as is the kitchen. Hot tub is right off the great room and the ski slopes are right next to the garage side door. Perfect in every way. We have stayed here several times for ski weeks and can't wait to get back. The house was more than the pictures led us to expect - so luxurious and comfortable. I want that iktchen at home! We enjoyed the media room and watched some great movies. My favorite thing, besides skiing, was the sunrise in the morning. How can you beat the view. And speaking of skiing, what a treat to be able to walk out the door and start down the mountain. We have stayed at this house twice and both times were incredible. The most recent stay was the beginning of April 2011. The skiing was fabulous, some fresh powder almost everyday. There were 12 in our group and plenty of space for all of us, kitchen area is great for cooking big meals and hanging out with everyone and then you have plenty of room for personal space, which isn't always the case when you are with a big group. It is really set up for ski in ski out ,nice area to store your gear and to get all suited up for a day of hassle free skiing...even for a big group! No crowded parking lots etc, just fun. Everything you really need is there for you, just do grocery shopping etc on your way in and you are good to go! Wow...This was an incredible vacation for our family. We really enjoyed your beautiful spacious home with all of its amenities. The kids loved the theatre room while my husband and I enjoyed the dry sauna and steam room after a hard day of skiing. The kids were all excited about each having their own bedroom, and we all slept great on the comfortable beds. Unlike other homes we have stayed in, your house is truly ski in and ski out. We really did walk five feet out your backdoor, put on our skis and skied to the nearest lift. It was easy to get the kids out the door for their ski lessons, giving my husband and I the chance to rip up both mountains, Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. The snow conditions throughout the week were fantastic, with at least 6”- 12” of fresh snow falling every day. We highly recommend any guests with large families to stay in this home because it is so comfortable and can sleep so many. We are looking forward to our vacation at your Whistler home next year! Ski in, ski out. The only way to ski. This property sits on a ridge overlooking Big Sky. Fantastic views from each bedroom. Walk-in showers in large bedrooms with all the privacy one could desire. Spectacular movie room. A hot tub from which you can watch the local red fox explore the surrounding berms. A cavernous living and dining room with cathedral ceilings. You will think you are close to heaven. I have been at this property over five times in the last eight years and will try to return each year. This work thing is getting in the way. I've stayed in this property 3 or 4 times and it is by far one of the best ski-in/out properties in the american Rockies. My wife and I have rented similar properties in Vail, Aspen, ParkCity, Whistler BC, Breck, the list goes on... If you haven't skied Big Sky yet, you should! And this is "the" place to stay. What a Fantastic House! There was 12 in our group and all of us had great accomodations. The bedrooms were very comfortable with wonderful mountain views throughout the house. The Kitchen and Dining area were perfect for our evening dinners. We ate at the house every night and even barbacued two of the nights. After, we would be down to the Theater Room for the nightly movie or some would be off to the hot tub or steam shower to sooth their tired bones. Talk about ski in and out, you are right off a major run. At the end of the day, skiing upto the house was a welcome pleasure. The group is already making plans to come back this season. What a great experience renting this house. Everything went smooth from the get go. There was 12 in our group. All of us had spacious accomodations, plus the steam room, sauna, spa, and the theater room. The kitchen was well equipped for a large group. The house being located on a ski run was ideal for easy ski in and out. On top of everything we had fantastic snow conditions. We are hoping to make back again this year for some spring skiing.

The first time we stayed at Diamond Hitch, we arrived at night in a snowstorm (yay, yay, yay!!!). The next morning dawned clear, and we were greeted by a spectacular view of the valley and mountains. It was the same the following year. The living area is warm and inviting, the bedrooms are comfortable and cozy, and the kitchen easily handles meals for a voracious crowd. Skiing in and out is ridiculously easy. The peak of luxury is the boot warming/drying rack in the garage. It is always a treat to put on boots that are warm and dry.
